I called them but was told they couldn't reverse the decision. I didn't think to ask if they would consider up-grading after a period . I haven't the energy to call them back, so i might leave it for now .

It is annoying. I've got friends who can eat anything and not put on weight...grrrrrrrrr.

Well, it's great your exercising and your weight has stabilised. I should really exercise more :o but i'm so !!!!!!! lazy :o. I'd love to go swimming but i feel a very self-conscious wearing a swimsuit ....so i don't go...

If it's any consolation I would also feel self conscious wearing a ladies swimsuit :D
Seriously though, if you enjoy swimming you should go, ignore any ignorant people who MAY give you strange looks :o

Guys, i've received my La Redoute catalogue but it's only a cash account (very dissapointing :() but if i do use it, is there any chance the account would be 'up-graded' to a credit account?

Most laredoute customers get the catalogue then on the order form at the back it will have a section to tick for a credit account. Mine came saying cash with order but I ordered something and ticked the box and added D.O.B and my order came with letter advising my £250 limit.

Maybe just try that... they still went on original credit search that was done once - not twice Like I expected!

So place an order and dont send payment but use the order form to place order on account......

Varying reports but 'supposed' to be quite easy.
I got turned down last year but wasn't on Electoral roll so maybe the reason.
Application is straightforward, don't even ask for previous addresses.
Go for it girl...you should get it, even a £200 limit is a start
Apparently, limits go up and down quite a bit, ie may start at £200, increase to £500 then back down again.
Good luck...just what you need with a baby on the way..some good stuff for kids :T

My OH applied for a next catalogue late last year, and didn't get an instant online decision.

A week later he received a form in the post asking him to confirm his address and previous addresses, he thought it was strange and didn't bother.

Do you think he would have been accepted? I didn't know next did that, and he totally wasted a search!!
96 items decluttered so far in 2013 :)

Normally do give instant decisions although on occasion it will return a message saying' application being processed'
Think electoral roll plays a big part to be honest in verifying identity, they also reserve the right to request a small payment from debit/credit card to assist with authorisation..Not much..think its about £3.
May be worth applying again..
