Mousepad becoming unresponsive

Hi All,

Please could someone help me with an unresponsive mousepad on a Toshiba Tecra M3 laptop?

It is getting more and more sluggish and very irritating!!

Is there anything I can do to reconfigure it?

Yes there is sometihng you can do, i believe if you go to start then control panel then i think its called mouse, i could be wrong though

I have had a look in the control panel but when I trouble shoot it doesn't really have my problem.

I think the best bet will probably just get a mouse to put in a USB port.

Personally ive never even heard of them going wrong. Possibly infected or something?

The Malware bit found nothing malicious thank goodnes! I did copy the log but when I went to paste I obviously didn't do it correctly as nothing is pasting....oops!!

The funny thing is, I had NO trouble at all with the mouse during the scan and was able to do loads of stuff without getting irritated. As soon as the scan stopped, the mouse got funny again. Very strange!

I am just about to do the second part now.

Can you please open Malwarebytes, goto UPDATE and tell me the 'database version'?

TICK these in hijack and FIX them ~

I believe the problem maybe because youve uninstalled AVG but parts are still running

I have database version 2175.

Have done the fix on the HIJACKTHIS, am just about to use the removal tool.
