The unwritten law of ebay buying and selling??

There seems to be an unwritten Ebay formula which makes everything I'm looking to buy going for a high price, but whenever I have something to sell, It seems to be selling for next to nothing!
Is it just my imagination or is this one of the laws of the Ebay universe which seems to apply to everything I do or sell on Ebay
Also, it's certainly not cheap to sell on Ebay, perhaps I should be car-booting instead

Depends how you look at what to expect, I look at completed items and look for more an average then the top.
Also better feedback as a seller can help you get more money for items as buyers are more confident.
Also a bit of bad luck could be involved.Have my first business premises (+4th business) 01/11/2017

It may not be luck or sods law- try and work out what they are doing differently to you.
Timing is important, as is stuff like postage cost, and start price. (for instance- the brain likes round numbers- try and make it easy for buyers, give nice round, easy to add up figures for both your start price/BiN and your postage cost)
Some things sell fantastically on BiN and struggle on auction, while others the reverse is true. This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine.

I use a lot of BIN's, I sell mostly video games and list how I shop. If there is a BIN for £6 or I can wait for a few auctions and that game usually goes for £5 then impatience gets to me and I will pay the £6.
It seems to work in my case and I am getting a lot of sales and more money.Have my first business premises (+4th business) 01/11/2017
