I need your suggestions for a mobile phone, for an elderly person

Bear with me, it's a bit of a story.

My uncle is 70 and does not have great manual dexterity with small items. He has an O2 contract, been with them for years, gets an upgrade every 12 months. He got an upgrade 6 months ago, a Motorola V3 - although he loves the concept of technology, he is actually a technophobe, so the V3 was always going to be a disaster. He got it because the buttons are a decent size, but now admits to me that he can't work it and needs a simple phone with large buttons..................but he wants it to be tiny and neat.

He's had a bluetooth full handsfree kit fitted in his car (as I said, loves the idea of toys  ) so, a neat phone, but not a flip-phone, with big buttons and bluetooth. That's all - doesn't need WAP, camera etc.

Help!

i have just got my dad who is 67 a nokia 1100 dead basic does what he needs and although the keys are v big he can manage it quite easily and he is as blind as a bat and has really big fingers ( he had to ahve his wedding ring made it goes into double letters)

It was a bargain as well cos CPW did a £10 trade in and I traded ina phone which was 6yrs old went on virgin PAYG put £5 credit on it and they gave me another £5 for free. total cost £15 with £10 credit on it.

I've had a look around, but I don't think that the 1100 is bluetooth - well, it doesn't say that it is, on the Nokia website. Do you happen to know, teepee?

    Thanks!

There's a phone specifically designed for older people I think it's called the Vodafone Simply ? I think they sell it in Argos. It's simple to use with a large display and buttons, not sure on the bluetooth but might be worth a peek.
