Anyone had any luck selling through Preloved?

I have just found this site and am thinking of selling my CDs and DVDs on it.
I just wondered if it is popular and whether you have had success selling.
It appear to be completely FREE, which is wonderful, considering I can only find sites charging ridiculous 15% commission and listing fees.
Obviously it won't have as many visitors as Ebay. But how did your stuff sell?
Any advice, much appreciated.

The first thing I always do on a new site is search for books to see what sort of prices people ask for and what sort of sellers the site attracts.
This is what my search returned:
Found 5788 adverts for book for sale or wanted in our free ads section:
of which 2591 were hard !!!!!!
That to me suggests the site is not one that I would probably bother with in future for day to day items.
Personally I would forget it and try ebid instead if you are determined to avoid ebay. A search on ebid at this precise moment for 'books' returns 160766 auctions.
I still don't think you will sell anything it, but at least you are on a better site.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I've just stumbled on this thread after someone has just left my house after buying a treadmill I was selling on Preloved. She emailed yesterday asking for it and collected it today. The whole process is very quick and I find it easy to sell larger items on preloved.
Have you seen the website www.musicmagpie.co.uk ? This is a great place to sell your DVD's as you don't pay for listing fees etc. You tell them what DVDs you have, they tell you how much it costs to list things and you can choose whether you sell it to them or not. If you do, they send you a freepost envelope and then send it back them and they post you a cheque.
JemmaSaving for my baby fund, not much in it yet so any information you can give will be much appreciated!0
