I never went to uni, so never had a uni iron.......perhaps that has something to do with my "relationship" with ironing - had I not missed out on those vital uni years, I might not be plagued by an ever increasing ironing pile now

Hypno and Shaun are absolutely correct.I post lots of mundane boring things as well as my debt busting antics to keep me sane...lol...we can't be super debt busters everyday....
When you think about it the biggest changes are at the beginning and then they become habit and then the other bits and pieces come about by tips and ideas gained from the people on the site.
As Hypno says we are all going to be here together for a long time and just as in life their will be happy times, sad times, tears and tantrums but however we are feeling there's always someone to share our feelings with...so chin up and we'll all get there together.

    Thanks for that.

I think my biggest problem is only be paid every 3 months so it is feast or famine and I get frustrated in between so I am hoping MB will be a more regular thing to keep me focused and feed my debt repaying habit

  • Morning folks

OK free bingo must have been reading this they made me deposit this morning but it will be coming out again so no worries there.

Checked banking £25 has come off the debt:j

Done my PAD £7.74 to the pay off the next 0% card fund was offered a 0% card for 9 months 2.99% fee a couple of days ago with extra priority points which would have meant a free night in a hotel but I think I messed up the application  anyway no instant decision they are writing to me was going to use that to BT my HSBC card which runs out in October think I might have to try one of my empty cards instead saving the PAD for the biggie OHs MBNA which runs out in Dec as at the moment it would take several cards to BT that one:eek:

Thankfullly the international transfer to the builder has come out of my account today I did it last Thursday and I have rung them twice about it was told on Sat it could take up to 6 days to leave my account what is that about it has always left my account within 24 hours before - I think they cocked it up but it would have been embarassing if it had the builder has been very good and I didn't want him to think I didnt want to pay.

Lots of talk about Christmas on the forum thanks Shaun for the 16 week reminder  I have some M & S vouchers I am planning to use hope they have a sale like last year and I will use them in their 3 for 2 christmas shop I did well last year. I get vouchers as I use my M&S card as my pay off monthly card so I must add them up when I get home and see how much I have got.

Thats it I think packing today and sorting out last minute things in the villa and then the flight home it has gone so fast.
