just catching up, sorry things have finally broken down with OD's partner, but it was bound to happen eventually. Whatever she decides to do, she is old enough to make her own decisions, but as a parent it's really hard.

This diet seems to be really working for you, well done on the loss. Did you list what you can and can't have or did I just miss it.

Well I have had a super afternoon with a very wonderful lady and her family including of course super dog Tess :T

As I said to Taxi today I feel that I know some of you on here very well indeed better than some of my "real" friends as we share such a lot and on such a regular basis. It was lovely to meet Taxi and for once she actually was very much like I had pictured. It was great to meet her family and I can confirm her OH is a real gem - what a lovely man. Her daughters are lovely and very funny together and I can see they care a lot for their mum. Sorry I didn't get to meet JJ - next time I hope. Great to hear the good news about the bone scan and Taxi looks very well.

Also went to the clinic thought I had only lost half a pound but on rechecking it is a 1Lb grrrrr to TOTM :mad: but at least it is off and have hit the magic 1 stone mark so 1 down 5 to go - oops forgot I am on Taxi's thread will copy this and post it on my own sorry

It was a great afternoon and it was like we'd been friends for years....thanks for those books you brought with you as I'll not need to go to the library now as I have lots of reading material.
I feel fine except for the pain and tiredness..I will beat this though x

What a heart warming story of you two meeting up - so glad you had a nice day. There certainly are some kindred spirits on here and it's good to know that the friendships work out in real life too :A
