I've read somewhere (not necessarily on here) about a hot air balloon which you can go on in Toronto (it is tethered) to see the stunning views

Sorry - can't help you with the balloon, but personally, I'd rather go up the CN Tower. It's warmer, you can eat, and with the restaurant revolving, you can see all the views without moving!

Hi Jennifer, we are going up the CN Tower for a meal on my birthday but DD wants to go in a hot air balloon, just thought it might be fun although could leave it for another timeI haven't got one!0

You might find (assuming you're going in the summer) that searches will have a result closer to the date. Lots of festivals etc have these sort of things - you obviously would only want to do this when it's warm!
