Ibiza in July

Hello

We're off to Ibiza on the 24th of July for a weekend and were wondering if anyone can suggest a good hotel/apartment.
We want to discover the relaxing side of the island not the usual noisy and touristic one.

Thanks

Not been yet, but booked for Sept this year. We decided on Hotel Osiris, which is central (ish), seafront San Antonio, were going clubbing mostly and it looks nice with great reviews on trip advisor. Also check their website. We also got the price down by about 100£ by speaking to them directly.

    Good luck and have fun!

We have just returned from Santa Eulalia on the east coast. Its the third biggest town on Ibiza (but still small) but has a great pedestrianised promenade of about a mile. Very relaxed laid back feeling but also plenty of bars, good dining - tapas, Ibenecian, Spanish, seafood as well as international. Good also for boat trips to Ibiza town and Formentor as well as locally.

We stayed at Fiesta Don Carlos, a three star hotel about 10 minutes walk from resort along a pine lined pathway. It had some of the best food we have had at any hotel. There are also plenty hotels / apartments more central.

So you might want to consider Santa Eulalia for a good combination of relaxation and facilities.

Agree with the post above. If you prefer a SC apartment to Hotel, the Atlas apartments next door to the Don Carlos (in an area known as Siesta) are usually cheap (check out Quidco and discount codes on Hotelopia for Atlas and Quidco cashback for Thomson bookings to Don Carlos where HalfBoard can be cost effective). From Sta Eulalia you can get the bus to Ibiza (lively) Portinatx (quiet) , boat to Calla Llonga or Es Cana (livelier and weekly market) and day trips to Formentera.
Roll on July and La Isla Blanca!

Figueretas is close to the old town and has a beach. I dont find it a particularly nice area and the prom seems to be a haven for dog walkers dropping turds willy nilly (the dogs, not the walkers)

Playa D'en Bossa might be the night stop. Big wide open beach, not a bad area. Its on the approach to the airport so pic your accomodation carefully.

St Eulalia is more sedate, small yachting/fishing port with beach area, prom, usual shops etc

San Antonio,,the horrible West End ,good to visit but you wouldnt want to stay there. Around the bay area is brash, over developed and unpleasant.

Port de sant Miguel and portinatx are much quieter.
