Hi everyone
Last year the BBC had a budget calculator so you could work out if Gordon had ripped you off or not
This year i can't seem to locate one

All workers should be a bit better off as the personal allowance on income tax and nat ins was raised by 3%.
That means you get a bit more of your salary back, tax free (around 12 quid a month on the average wage).0 -

That calculator's from 2005. I can't find the 2006 one. To be honest, so little was changed, it really isn't worth inputting your figures.0

Yay :j we're £116.56 per year better off! Don't really understand what it all means though as I haven't seen/heard all of Gordon's budget proposals.
Quick question from a really stupid and tired me, can anyone provide an idiots guide to the paying less tax and national insurance bit?
Edit to add: Meanmachine just said it, thanks! So does that mean that when I get my £778 pay and once my childcare vouchers are deducted they will deduct less tax and national insurance?"I've fallen down a hole" - said in best Monty Python voice-over.0 -
