Flights for 1pence (not incl taxes)

Hi

Hapag lloyd Express (the airline?)have an offer (1pence not incl tax) on for some flights from Birmingham, Newcastle, Manchester and I think Dublin; with destinations to most of the main european airports

https://www.hlx.com/en/offers/happy_hlx_hours.html

Ive just booked 2 adults and 2 kids to Bonn and back in late May for a fantastic total price of £122.00 WOW!

Not sure when offer ends though...will try and discover, also never heard of this carrier, hope they are reliable???

have fun

Think you need to add (not including taxes) in the title as its misleading.Would be really nice though if some companies would give us a flight for 1p including taxes.Cant see it happening though/or not very often.

Saveapenny is correct.Taken from another website.

HLX https://www.hlx.com - One of Germany’s biggest low cost carriers offering flights as low as the price of a taxi! HLX is a 100% subsidiary of TUI AG, the largest travel and tourist company in the world.

Its only misleading to the STUPID AND GULLIBLE. The rest of us understand that there is bound to be extras added on,mostly TAX that our government would rather hide from the unsuspecting public.
Anybody who is misled by an advert that states "only 1p +taxes and charges" and thinks they are going to get a flight for a mere penny, deserves to be taxed double and/or locked up in the looney bin(unpoliticaly correct phrase:rolleyes: ) and let the rest of us enjoy cheap flights.30 quid to fly to Germany return is fabulous.

We've flown to Munich from Newcastle with them, no problem at all, the only thing is that there is no concession to the fact that they are flying ex britain, this is a German airline!

  • Hi LesD

Have just checked destinations, they seem to fly all over Europe including amongst others Rome, Majorca, Paris, Stockholm, Milan, Salzberg. Suggest you take a peek at their website, if you are interested.
