Barclaycard Platinum credit card......

Hi

Ive recently been accepted for a Barclaycard Platinum credit card . It will be my first credit card as I have just owned a maestro.So I have Got a few newbie questions.

Have I orderd the right card for my self?
I will be mainly using it to buy stuff online because my new hsbc card I have had problems with as its a visa debit card now.

Does this card work they same way as my debit card but have a larger overdraft limit?

Can I transfer funds from my hsbc account to this account online ?

How much credit will I get per month on this card.

congratulations first of all.....:beer:

it is a credit card, so you get a credit limit.
and yes u can transfer monies from your HSBC current account to barclaycard when your payments are due.

the credit limit will arrive in the post with ur card:j

I also have the Barclaycard Platinum.

The limits are good and not had any problems.

p.s. If you pay your Barclaycard online with you HSBC Visa Debit like me and you pay say around before 5.30pm, it credits the payment overnight, rather than having to wait a few working days.:p

I've also noticed that if you pay it on a Friday before 5.30pm, it credits your account in the early evening and the funds for that transaction are still in your HSBC account all weekend
