Me and the OH are planning our holiday for September..at the moment the best option seems to be going camping, either in cornwall or somewhere else down south nearby.
Does anyone have any recommendations for where we can stay?

Hi, Polmanter camp site in St Ives is beautiful, or Ayr camp site, Ayr in St Ives has stunning views and is only a stones throw from the beaches and town, Near by attractions, "Flambards" ( you can use your tesco clubcard rewards for entry) Also The Eden project, lots of beautiful countryside for cheap walks and picnics etc etc.Thriftkitten

The Headland at Tintagel is a great cheap and cheerful campsite...if you want to push the boat out sept is a great time for the Isles of scilly (tropical paradise on your doorstep) the ferry run cheap deals but the extra's (water taxi's etc) can mount up.
Perranporth has a haven site and its only a short bus ride into Newquay (if you want the whole club house thing) Eden nr St Ives ? its half our drive at least but you can get one end of Cornwall to the other in little over a hour, so suppose it is

I have fond memories of a campsite called Silverbow Park in Goonhaven. We stayed there about ten years ago but I've just found their website and it doesn't appear to have changed. It's near Truro and Perranporth and great if you like a more peaceful campsite. It does have some great facilities but no club/bar.0

My mother and father in law are running the site shop this summer, we went down for May Day Bank Holiday this year, had a great time. We are going back in July - can't wait.Wins in 2013 - Jan - Heinz No Noise Ketchup.0
