It has only 1 HDMI input.

I have one reserved for me.

I don't have freeview (no arial on a rented house).

But i will have to buy a freesat HD box to replace the sky (freesat from sky) box so that I can watch TV!

Will I be able to run the SCART from the dodgy old DVD player into the freesat box so I can watch the odd DVD?

Any other options in the £300- £400 range please note the good value warranty from richersounds.

Thansk

Sorry where are you getting that from?

RS says Contrast ratio - from manufacturers information 10,000:1

Sorry with you now you mean the F&H thing (who are they?) not quite the same as B&O is it!
Yep you ARE mad.. No remote control, turn volume up/down
    Again from RS

Is an Infra-red remote control included? icon-yes.gif

I think it is a done deal.

3000:1 would be an amazing contrast ratio if it were true. A well set up cinema has a contrast ratio of about 400:1.

Unfortunately, manufacturers *ahem* "embellish" the truth somewhat, making it all pretty meaningless.

Hitachi do not actually make TV's any more, they just badge stuff from other makers, avoid.
