I thought that the principles of Equigas and Equipower were that everyone paid the same regardless of status or payment method?0

Yet to get the paperwork, Nicholas, see on Google 'Careline offers special facilities for the elderly and chronically sick', probably means something like BIGGER PRINT bills, or they shout when phoning :-).0

Can't see that the equality thingy means a lot. Business is Business. If they buy right and have enough customers they will make a profit, and I can't see EBICO giving that profit back to the consumers.0

I moved to Equigas & Electric in December had been with British Gas for both my bills, I have just got my 1st full quarter bills & i am well pleased with both.
Last year my gas bill was £197.80 not too bad, used a lot more this year bill was only £170.50, I WAS DREADING IT because the weather has been very cold & the heating has been on for hours every day.0 -
Pleased for you Queen, nice to hear. The weather is about to turn. Spring has sprung.0

Even the Co-op makes a profit, and presumably returns that profit back in the divvy. But they seem not able to compete with the likes of Tesco and Sainsbury, and certainly not with Lidl and Aldi.
Not complaining, only commenting, but can't see where the drive and incentive is coming from.0 -
The co op makes a trading profit and then gives it back. Ebico has supply contracts that are matched by their tarifs, so they are profit neutral. IE they don't make a profit.
Life isn't all about money, so just because they are not becoming rich the founders of Ebico should not be criticized for their beliefs. Maybe just running an ethical company gives them their drive and ambition.
