Just did a quick google try bmd-certificates.co.uk . Looks like for a 15 day delivery they charge £25 . there were other sies too .hth x0

Firstly, TIGS, I had already made the point about obtaining PR on marriage but thank you for reinforcing that.
Secondly, Lady S, on the assumption that you have and always have had PR, then your ex has not "legally" changed the children's names by deed poll. If you did not give permission then the document is illegal and they are not entitled to use any other names but those on the birth certificate.
It only costs £7 to obtain a copy of a birth certificate from the registrar's office of the area in which the children were born. I have never waited more than seven days for one to arrive after sending payment.0
