Is it a 'till spit' voucher? If it is, in my experience these will work against any clubcard.

That's what I mean! Will be fine to hand over with your clubcard.

I often get these from hubbies clubcard, then use them with my own one.

When the code entry says "This code has been used the maximum number of times" I assume it means in a certain period (which I seem to have guessed incorrectly as a day). Does anyone know when this period resets? I haven't been able to get any codes working for over a month now (and I usually try 25 codes).
  • Hiya,
Does anyone know if you can use a clubcard cineworld ticket on the 241 orange wednesdays?
    Thanks

Just come across a problem with using Tesco vouchers that I have never experienced before.
Received with my last clubcard vouchers a code for £12 off a £80 spend. I placed an order for £86 and the code was accepted. The order has just arrived and after promotions savings it came to less than £80 so my code was disallowed. This has never happened to me before and codes that have been initially accepted have always been accepted when the final bill is calculated and falls below the required spend.
I have just phoned Tesco and was told that I should use a calculator as I do my shop to make sure it comes to more than the spend threshold, they realise that it is a bind but as a gesture of goodwill they have refunded the £12!
Has anybody else come across this or have Tesco changed their sytems?

That's disgraceful - if they can't provide an accurate cost before accepting the voucher, then they shouldn't disallow it.
I think this problem will be solved soon though, as they are bringing in a new shopping site. Some of us are already on it and your basket total includes promotions, 2 for 1's etc, so is an accurate total of your shopping.

Ah, that probably explains it! I am still on the old website, the customer services person probably can't tell which website you have shopped from.

  • Hi

wasn't sure where to post this, and a bit of a stupid question! but if you want to save your clubcard points up, when you get your vouchers through, you can just ignore it and let them build up? is that right? do you have to use them within 2 yrs? just don't want them to expire and miss out!

    thanks

    Lou x
