Phew!
Yes, same here.
I also phoned Tesco Direct [thinking it was something I'd done wrong, etc] and the customer service gent tried looking & couldn't come up with codes other than the general 'free delivery on £50 shop' code.

Hi
I recently had my eyes tested at Tesco Opticians and although I dont need to change my prescription lenses I would like a new pair of glasses as the ones I wear now have had a few repairs over the years and not really the fashion I like now I am older!
I have found out the cost of the pair I like and its £80 after all NHS deductions and instore deals (reaction lenses) currently available.
My question is can I pay for new glasses using Tesco Clubcard vouchers? If not I will just have to be patient and save up and hope the deals are still available in a year!
Many thanksFailure is only someone elses judgement.
Without change there would be no butterflies.

Didn't work for me either, in fact no codes seem to work for me. There were codes to get extra points if you purchased egg and sugar and they dont work either
I've been using Asda to get my food for the last two years but since they always seem to get my order wrong, one way or the other I decided to try Tesco today...not off to a very good start if I cant get any codes to work0 -
Hi, I have just tried the tesco code that came through with the newsletter XX-PD96 and guess what. Its been used the max. amount of times. Why if Martin gets these and Tesco give permission will they not work0

Did you open a new account? I used that code last week and it said used max number of times on old account but worked on a new account! I just had another £10 off £50 emailed to new account (posted on the codes thread) but it would only work on the account emailed to and not my old account. I've never recieved a code for my old account and any i find never work on it. Mr T focuses too much on new customers rather than retaining old ones. Try opening a new account if you haven't already xDaughters Sealed Saving Pot - start them young :money: £90 :T0 -

To answer my own question after a few days of trying to find out via email and asking instore for sure but the opticians in Tesco stores are actualy part of Tesco themselves and not a franchise. So Yes they do accept clubcard vouchers for payment towards glasses!
Thought this info might be useful to somebody else - every little helps ;)
