Does this mean that I can only use these two £10.00 vouchers together if I am buying something over £40.00 and I have to spend £20.00 of my own money. This is the first time I have exchanged and I didn't realise that there were such conditions placed on them. So basically to use them you have to be spending an equal amount of you own cash. A great way for tesco to boost there profits at certain times of the year. These vouchers aren't straight money off vouchers then...?? Can anyone confirm this, I doubled up these vouchers in store for online purchases and I want to make sure they have been exchanged correctly.
Thanks
Hi misslee I don't do double up very often as prefer to do the deals x4 etc, but have in the past & am pretty sure you can use your 2x £10 of the £20 spend as you would not need change ie if it came to £19 you would only be able to use 1 then pay £9 IYSWIM but as the goods are £20 and you have £20 & nothing to pay HTH0 -
I've never used the clubcard exchange before and am trying to use £50 worth of vouchers against a phone costing £160 but it says I'm not making the minimum spend??????
Anyone have any ideas what is wrong?0 -

Hi
Not sure where to post this but might be of interest to tesco voucher code users who look here for codes.
I have received an e-mail supposedly from Tesco Personal Finance (online@tesco.co.uk) which looks genuine BUT it says....
Tesco Bank is giving you a chance to shop for free at any of our tesco outlets or online by giving out free tesco vouchers.
This offer is only for Tesco Credit Card owners and it will be on until the 1st of January,2013.
To Qualify, follow the link below and input all the details required...........
When I clicked the link the next page looked OK but then the next page asked for just a bit too much detail which set alarm bells ringing so I didn't go any further.
Tesco e-mails should be from Tesco.com and not .co.uk. so I do not think this is genuine.
I have reported it as a phishing scam but wanted to warn others.
If this should be posted elsewhere please feel free to move it or copy to another thread. Better safe than sorry.0 -
Hello
Does anyone hava tesco code that would give me £10 off the kindle paperwhite?
Thanks very much0 -
I have put 2 cases in my basket at a total of £59.88. Any ideas to get the total to £60??
Thanks0 -
Just placed an online order for £52 (guide price bill) with Tesco, then rang them to check they would still honour the £5 discount if the final bill falls below £50 (they adjust it as they can't seem to get it right at the time you place your order). At first they said they would honour if you ring them, then when found out it was the GRHRFG code, as this code is not issued by Tesco at all.. but my MSE .. they will not honour the discount. I said that was highly unlikely it had nothing to do with Tesco but the customer service manager insisted, so thanks Martin for handing out £5 off codes to us all .. but Tesco will not honour them if your final bill is below £50 after you THINK you've spent that much (and they can't get that bit right when you order!)
I don't like Tesco at the best of times ... I like them even less now!0 -
They wouldn't honour it for me either! And my final bill was over £50. It was accepted at the checkout, but when I received my goods the receipt did not include the £5 off. Had long and tedious conversation with lady on phone, something about codes being applied to email addresses and that Money Saving Expert did not have the right to be offering these codes? Requested that they honour it anyway as it was not my fault, and she said that on this occasion she would, but I will wait and see if my card is refunded. Don't know why I bother with Tesco!0

Apolgies if this has already been mentioned.
Went into Tesco today armed with lots of small money off vouchers I got through the post and also some hubby got to.
I split the shopping because I wasn't sure if his vouchers would work against my card, perhaps someone could tell me.
Before I left home I made a note of the stuff which had vouchers to make sure I bought the exact stuff.
Anyway get to the till and give the girl the vouchers and quite a few of them wouldn't go thru although they should have done.
Quite peed off but went to Customer Services and they gave me the money which came up to £2. It seems you cannot trust them with these vouchers. I used to just hand them over and if they didn't go through took their word for it but not anymore, I will do the same again.0
