  • Just done my Tesco shop online and with all the codes and buy one get 2 free hints from MSE posters I have spent £111 (grim / but 5 in family!) BUT I have saved £85!! I have enough lunch box goodies for the children for about 4 weeks - thanks everyone :-):j:p
  • Ok ! so I have loads of vouchers to spend thanks to the clever use of a Tesco credit card. Going to take advantage of the Tesco exchange but everytime I see something I like it says currently unavailable, is anyone else noticing this? It seems to be on the better deals. I am looking for a dinner service and thought the denby ranges for £50 were excellent value but guess what? not available. Also looking for glassware but a lot of the good deals on there are unavailable too or not for use with exchange. So now I may just opt for Tesco own range dinner service so if anyone has any experience of them let me know (sick of replacing chipped plates). And on another note do any of the vouchers work as I can never find one that does?
    Rant over:)

  • I doubled up my clubcard points and used them all to order a new dyson on Tuesday, can pick up today or tomorrow.

Anyhow, I wanted something else from tesco direct valued at £99 and when i come to checkout it shows as if I have £90 of e coupons left and a balance to pay of £9.
I phoned Tesco, cos I didnt want them chasing me for the money later, and they said if I press the delete button next to the coupons the correct price will show. She said it was the system taking a while to catch up.

Well, I've waited 2 days, the e coupons are still there, and if i press delete it makes no difference the voucher stays there? very odd!

This happened to me on the last exchange but every time I tried to order it would not actually let me check out.

It was about two weeks before the codes went away.

i want to buy items from tesco direct that cost £19.99 but when i try to use my £20 of vouchers it will only let me use one which leaves to pay £9.99is this the way it works?

    thanks

  • I exchanged 2x £5 of my vouchers to buy a pair of straighteners at £20.00. But each of the £10 vouchers say £10 off when you spend £10.00. Does this mean that I can only use these two £10.00 vouchers together if I am buying something over £40.00 and I have to spend £20.00 of my own money. This is the first time I have exchanged and I didn't realise that there were such conditions placed on them. So basically to use them you have to be spending an equal amount of you own cash. A great way for tesco to boost there profits at certain times of the year. These vouchers aren't straight money off vouchers then...?? Can anyone confirm this, I doubled up these vouchers in store for online purchases and I want to make sure they have been exchanged correctly.

    Thanks

yes that is right. They won't give you a 1p change! If you want to use the vouchers to pay for the item outright, find something for about a £1 that you don't mind paying the difference for, and then you can use the vouchers to pay for your item in full.
