Tesco stopped taking competitor's conditional
Spend vouchers on 30 October 2011. They said it was due to the laughable price drops they had introduced in store.0 -

Hi,
I placed an online grocery order recently and used a coupon for extra 1000 cc points. However, this coupon was rejected by them because this is not my first order.
Although the coupon is for 1st time shoppers, it was accepted by the system and confirmed by the email. Is there a way to claim the points?
Any similar experience is welcome.
Thank you.0 -

I don't get it - if it's not your first order, why would a 'first order' points bonus be applicable!?
If the 'system' initially accepts the code - fine it's a valid code, but then it's not credited to you - because the code T & Cs don't match with your details.
However, if I misunderstood your post, and it was you first order - bonus points don't go on straight away - just in case after delivery changes affect the T & Cs validity.I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0 -

Thanks for your reply.
It is not my first order but the coupon was valid for the order and accepted by their system, anyway.
It may be the IT system glitch but I am confusing what to do if this happens again.0
