    Sorry for lack of info !.

    Its the Alliance and Leicester.Its not much,but its better being in my account than lying around.

    Not necessarily. The spread between selling rates and buying rates for a foreign currency is usually 12%. So assuming exchange rates stay the same (!!) and you can look after the money safely you are better keeping the money safe for your next trip to Eurozone - unless you can earn 12%+ interest on it.

    I agree, if it is a smallish amount, you are better off keeping it.
