Menu bar disappeared

I am asking on behalf of my sister as her menu bar (the one with file, edit view etc) has disappeared. In fact all she seems to have is the Google toolbar and when you look in settings it only seems to deal with Google. There is also something to do with favorites up at the top too. Ive tried right clicking but the options for toolbars just doesnt come up. Any ideas please would be gratefully received. TIA

press F11 on your/her keyboardGOOGLE it before you ask, you'll often save yourself a lot of time.

She's either gone full screen, in which case press F11 or she's hidden the menu bar in which case she needs to keep right clicking in empty space at the top of the window until a menu appears with a "menu bar" option and put a tick next to that option. It takes some finding I'm afraid depending on which browser she's using. If it's IE try right clicking near the favourites button if she can see that.0

Where the 'favourites' thing is, right-click and make sure 'Lock the toolbars' is NOT ticked. Now, tick 'Menu Bar' and 'Status Bar' if you want, then re-lock the taskbar.The quickest way to become a millionaire is start off as a billionaire and go into the airline business.
