HELP! Screen problem!!

I recently purchased a 19" GNR lcd tft monitor for my PC and i thought i would give it a good clean. So when i saw the lcd wipes in Aldi on offer, i thought why not ?!! so i rushed home and followed the instructions on the tub of wipes. BUT i have a problem. the screen was not very dirty to begin with, but the wipes have left smears all over the screen. Have i ruined my screen ? does anyone else use theese wipes from Aldi ? they come in a blue tub of 100. I have read about microfibre cloths, do Tesco sell them ? One thing that i noticed was that the wipes had too much "solution" on them. Could i first wipe the screen with the wipes (essentialy applying the solution on to the screen) and then wipe the screen "smear free" with a microfibre cloth ?
Any feedback is appreciated.

they are probably a bit to greasy, I just use a damp microfibre cloth and thats it, they should have them in tesco, I bought mine in poundstrechers for £1 and they are great, can be used on everything.Work like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0

yes , in a nutshell, whatever (wet method) you clean it with will leave streaks unless you dry it off with a dry cloth.Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0
