PPP - Who's Responsible?

Can any one help?
I purchased a car from Motorpoint of Derby Ltd using their finance facility which is provided by Blackhorse. I recently wrote to Blackhorse to complain that I was mis-sold the PPP which is attached to my finance agreement. They have wrote back stating: 'As the insurance was sold by Motor Point of Derby Ltd. and not by us, I have passed a copy of your letter to them and asked that they investigate the issues you have raised and respond directly to you.'
Are Blackhorse pasing the buck? Who is responsible? I pay my monthly PPP premium to Blackhorse. As far as I am aware Motorpoint are agents for Blackhorse who sell (or mis sell!) their financial products.
Thanks,
Andrew.

Hi Andrew
Yes its the ones who arranged the finance you write to.
I would though contact the company to make sure your letter has been sent to them.
Good luck and please keep us posted.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"

I note that Motorpoint of Derby are no longer authorised by the FSA since 29/01/07.
Under the contact details at the FSA is this

Is this the address you have written to. Don't know if this is the one for now or not but worth checking out first.
