Contents Insurance (with a criminal conviction)

Can anybody help me as I have a criminal conviction (I got it in January 2006 via a fine) is there any insurer/company that will insure me for contents insurance. All of the one's I have done online always have no criminal convictions. Thanks, Also if possible I like to apply on-line, if not I will phone up

I personally recommend customers to Bureau Insurance who have a scheme for people with convictions, I find them efficient and helpful. http://www.bureauinsure.co.uk/ you could also try nacro http://www.nacro.org.uk/ or unlock who a lot of people are talking about http://www.unlock.org.uk/main.aspx
