    Hi all,

You have to be very careful to make sure you have up to date balances before you place the debt in to a DRO. If you put a debt in to a DRO with a balance from some time ago then any added interest and charges would be outside the DRO, and you could be persued for them.

    Just some more DRO madness.

I wonder what an OR would do with my OH :p

All accounts where put into a state of lawfull dispute under the CCA act at the begining of 2008, but they have continued to add intrest and charges, pushing her to the edge, if not over the DRO threshold:rolleyes:

Wonder if an OR would listen.........doubt it somehow:confused:

In fact i doubt they would have a clue what im on about as so many dont know CB can not be included in an IPA calculation:rolleyes:

How out of date are we talking? Weeks? Months? Years?

Its almost impossible to keep track of balances! I tried to check online before I applied for my DRO, but most of my accounts had been suspended and therefore I could not log in, so had to go with my last know statement.

    Oh these DRO's are a worry!!!!!

Yep, they are, give the creditors chance, if they want to they could get them all revoked, if the OR is willing to investigate;)

Its not hard to prove any debtor potentialy has more than £300 worth of assets if they have a debt of 15k or even 5k for that matter, if the creditors wanted too:confused:

    Its laughable realy

Its cheaper and less hassle than declaring bankruptcy, and they might give your case up as a lost cause.

I was almost declared bankrupt in the 1990's and had a whole host of debt collectors trying to keep up with where we were living and how much I was earning.

Sorry for how I am sounding but it's begun to rip me to shreds pretty seriously.Like the soldier that was blown up with a land mine in Afghanistan? And because I am a very very stupid human being who knows why they are in this mess.We all borrowed the money; if we can't pay it back there are several tried and tested means of addressing insolvency. Justice is something that is forbidden for someone like myself it has turned out.Like those caught up in conflicts or dying for want of clean drinking water? And now it seems I cannot even rid myself of this situation that was created by someone I helped.Ah, the joy of having somebody to blame. So it just makes the whole vicious circle even worse. It is so damn wrong I cannot even begin to describe how it makes me feel. Always I have done the right thing, where does it get you in life?No good deed goes unpunished. Someone took something that was so good and they broke it, destroyed it. Yes, it is all behind me but what is to come from all of it is a reminder which won't ever go away because they are linked. And right when I am trying to start again. Should I even bother trying to. If I am out on the streets,We've been made homeless twice, but none of our four children can remember.(memo to self: don't pledge house for security in next business) maybe that is where I was headed for all along anyway. After all I deserve it for getting into this mess. Because if it does come to that I know exactly where I will go, which place I will go to. It's a long way to travel but I will get there somehow or other.Xanandu?? It's a place I like. Then I will just vanish. Because I don't want anymore of this.

For God's sake Merlin, face your problems like a man or woman, and quit whingeing.

Im already on a DRO, had it accepted last week, but like many others, expecting creditors to appeal, and may have to face having the DRO revoked.
Definately have not got a worry free mind yet!

I understand why, as there are so many 'holes' but the best of luck, will keep my fingers crossed it goes OK, i always look for the worst case scenario, its what i do, well did, for a living, designing fault proof systems, but in most cases worst case never happened, its just me that likes to make sure if it did the system was ready to cope, if you see what i meen;)
