Got 2 different prices for my tax disc......
We've received the reminder which says 12 months duty is £120. However, when I go on the website to renew, the price is £125. I know that the price is going up on 1st May, but should I be able to get it for £120 as that is what the renewal price is on the reminder? Would I still get it at this price if I went to a post office instead?
I know it's only a fiver, but if I can save it then all the better!
Thanks for any help.

This has been asked SO many times this month!
Re-read the reminder about how the price is subject to change in the budget......0 -
If you check the renewal notice it does say 'in red' the cost may have changed - I had the same problem. Renewal notice had £185 but online it said £190.0

the post office counter workers across the country must be pretty miffed with this change...
i took all the paperwork in to the PO to tax mum's car.. she gave me a pre-written cheque - needless to say it was for the wrong amount - which the PO staff only noticed after writing the vehicle details on the disc..0
