How do i turn this hotmail live mail interface off? I hate it.

I just want bog standard hotmail mail

    Are you using Live Mail to download your e-mails to your computer? If that's the case, Live Mail is hotmail, you can't change it.

    Or is it hotmail through a web browser? If so, I don't think you can change that either. (Well apart from the colour!)

    Via web browser at https://www.hotmail.com does my head in..too cluttered,too many privacy issues etc etc..
  • Oh you mean with all the advertisements? Sorry, that's just the way it is! I think you have to pay for the premium version if you don't want them!

    You could use mail2web instead, but you'd probably be better off using a mail client installed locally.

    what privacy issues, the ads are just ads, i use hotmail but dont have an issue with the ads

    I mean the whole bit about "network" "your network" etc etc,its all too confusing,a bit like having a cut down facebook bolted on the back of email.
