New to ebay & have a problem with a buyer..please help

I am looking for some help/advise as i am new to selling on ebay and have a problem.

On Friday 10th i had my first lot of auctions end and one bidder completed checkout and the payment posted (cheque) options and sent me an email to say they were sending payment shortly. I still hadn't received anything by monday this week so i emailed them to ask if they had sent it yet and have just received this email back from them:

Hi ****
I am sorry I have not got back sooner, I had my avon delivery end of last week and I had ordered half price their eyesmoother. I had a feeling I had double oredered. Would you be offended if you re listed it? I will pay the re listing fees for you ? just let me know and I will send the money. I have only been using ebay for about a month so I do get a little confused.... doesnt take much apologies ***

What do i do now ? I haven't been in this position before and really dont know what to do re re-listing fees etc. and as it had sold, as far as ebay were concerned, i have been charged final value fees as well as listing fees etc. what happens with all those ?

Sorry for all the questions but up until just now i hadn't had any problems so not quite sure what do (and there was me thinking it would be easier than a car boot sale!)

Any help would be very much appreciated.
xx

    Sounds genuine - ish....

Don't forget that you are not just liable for re-listing fees, you are also liable for fees on the purchase price. If the buyer is willing to pay these as well, I guess you just sigh and relist. If they're not willing, you have to report them as a NPB (non-paying buyer) and you will get your FVF (final value fees) back from Ebay - eventually! :D
Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).

If your willing to do this, think about all the possible fees that you could be charged and ask her to pay them. This includes the paypal fee if she pays the fees via paypal.

Otherwise, as post #2 states, NPB report.
