bathroom tiles

The one thing I do like about my bathroom tiles is the floor tiles have a shine like the wall tiles but they have a grip finish so you don't slide on them when wet.

Maybe I'll get fed up with my beige tiles, but I've always liked the hotel bathroom look (minimal) and now I have it!0

Mine are beige and I have a brown to almost off white large mosaic border. I wasn't planning on going so coloured but fell in love with them.

I am going for honed travertine on the floor, layed diagonally (makes smaller bathrooms look bigger) and plain white on the walls. A classic look that hopefuly wont date. If you stick with fairly neutral tiles you can change the colour scheme with different towels/blinds and accessories when you get bored with it.0

Put our bathroom on hold as we decided to decorate the sitting and dining room and buy new furniture instead, but this was my idea.
I wasn't going to go with fashion. I fancied white art-deco style toilet and sink, L-shaped showerbath with glass screen, stargate granite floor tiles and up the side of the bath, white wall tiles with a black or grey border at eye level, chrome accessories and red towels. Thought it would look luxurious and dramatic. Here I go again on my own....0 -
We've just bought the tiles for our new bathroom and we went for stone colour (to give a warm feeling - at present it's blue and white, and very cold feeling).
We got these wall tiles from Wickes:

Floor tiles from Focus DIY:

We also decided on a border (stone & glass):

Hoping it looks good once we've got it all done!0 -
