nationwide daily limit - apply to Chip and Pin purchases?

I know that the daily withdrawal limit for a Nationwide card at an ATM is £300.
Does anyone know if this also applies to purchases at a retailer where you use Chip and Pin? I want to make a purchase (significantly) over £300 and am not sure whether I will be able to, or if I will need to juggle it on multiple cards.

yes you can make a purchase over 300... generally up to your card limit.0

The purchase limit with a Debit Card is basically however much is in your account.0
