I used to have a bank account with abbey national, the gave me an overdraft facility and kept increasing and increasing the amount untill i was at 1750 pounds. This stayed as per for a couple of months then i had a letter from the bank saying that they were reviewing my overdraft and they ecided they wanted me to repay full amount in 10 days! I couldnt do this so my account went to the collections dept, when i couldnt meet the payments they wanted they sent it to a solicitor who demanded i pay an amount i couldnt afford so i ended up with a ccj, the account went from 1750 to 2500 with charges etc, would it be worth trying to reclaim the charges??
