Not registered keeper - You would need to sell it to him/someone else, after that, you can remain the RK.

But you need to get this on paper - Even if the transaction is a token sum, and inform the bailiffs that you don't own the vehicle. After that, they can't seize it. Use recorded delivery/signed for and keep a copy, do not trust this to the phone!

Same with all your other seizable goods (check the website for full details) - Get them sold round your friends and family, then get an inventory together of who owns what, and present it to the bailiff should they get in your door. It is also advisable to affix a "property of" sticky label to all of them.

Brilliant website. Do you think that if I transfer the car to my boyfriends name I'll be able to prevent them from towing it? I don't have a scanner but once I get access I'll get straight on getting those docs to you.

When you say "transfer the car" you mean "Sell it to him for a nominal sum, and make sure a receipt is written out that no-one could possibly quibble with, so that the fact it's his property cannot possibly be disputed when the bailiffs come calling" don't you?
