First Direct internet banking quick help

Hi,
I am fairly new to First Direct and I'm a bit puzzled by their website. It's my 4th internet banking account, so, it's not as if I'm completely new to this. Yet, I am totally unable to find how to get back to a secure message I received yesterday and that I read fairly quickly, thinking I can get back to it today.
If I click on "messages", I only get the following "You have no new messages.". If I click on contact us-> secure message; this is obviously only to send a new message.
So, where are my old messages?
I cannot even find a "help" option in the menu...
Could anyone help me here?
Many thanks in advance,
Philippe

Hi Phillipe
I am fairly certain that all messages with FD delete once read. You might want to call them to see if they can re-send it or stop your messages being deleted.

Sorry - spelled your name completely wrong there!:rolleyes:0

Ahhh ok!
Thanks HCF,
Well, I'll do that, but I think it's quite bad you cannot go back to old messages...
Thanks again0 -
You can't go back to secure messages in FD once you have read them. It's a bug bear of mine. I have called them and asked, but it's the way thr system is set up.
I could read all my old messages when I banked with Smile."If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." -- Red Adair0 -
Welcome to FD's award winning internet banking - the award is "Internet Banking which looks like it was created in the 1970's and hasn't been updated since".You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. I'm going to take myself off the electoral role like I should of done ages ago and move to the Caribean. I already brought my plane ticket, all be it a refundable 1.0

I've had same problem - clicked on a message at work, saw it was quite long so decided I'd read it at home, like every other bank I've been with's online messaging system lets you do - no such joy!
Just wish there was a clear warning that the message deletes after being read0
