I just received a balance transfer in my Egg Money account.

How do I transfer the money to my current account?

I'd be calling them and asking for a BACS transfer, ensuring I maintained a positive balance.

However, be mindful of any purchase transactions yet to appear, and don't use the card again until you see the transfer listed on your recent transactions list. This will ensure it's a purchase transaction that creates any negative balance and not the BACS transfer transaction.

You can probably do a transfer online.
I would leave some in there to cover any overlooked payments going out too

That was always my preferred option but the T&C's have changed recently and there's now a 3% BT fee.

I'd avoid this method just in case their systems automatically charge the fee, irrespective of the positive balance maintained. Then again, I'm a very cautious stoozer!

Like you, YorkshireBoy, I was a bit concerned about getting landed with a BT fee.

I requested the transfer over the phone, and had confirmed it was free of charge. Shame about the long Bank Holiday weekend.
