confused...
So I got the keys to my flat yesterday and went to have a look (not moving in fully till 4th June) problem - I can't find the gas & electric meters
We have the boiler in the kitchen, fuses in hallway closet and temperature/time monitor thing in the hallway itself. I can't find any white boxes outside either.
oh and I'm with npower, lets hope they are good to me.

The meters could be in a storeroom or somewhere in entrance hall of flats. Maybe a cupboard outside. It could be that all the meters for the block are together. When you find them, note the readings and meter numbers. This is an open forum, anyone can post and I just did !0

well there's what I think is a small room at the bottom of the stairs but as far as I can tell it's locked.
I want to get the readings done and set up my accounts0 -
oh the building seems to be managed by Tower Hamlets Homes though I'm renting from private landlord, should I speak to them?0

Introduce yourself to your new neighbours and ask them if they know the whereabouts of their meter(s)
Or ask the landlord. You really should have the readings recorded on your inventory/statement of condition when you move in to avoid future problems."Now to trolling as a concept. ....
