Has anyone got a current glass's guide to hand?

Hi All

Has anyone a glass's guide to hand and care to give me some quick trade price and private prices. In-laws and the missus want to buy new cars so need to know there car values especially before I allow the missus to get one.

Citroen Saxo 1.1 Desire. 5dr. 2001 - Y Plate. 41K on clock

Vauxhall vectra 2.0 16V R plate (not sure which year) - approx 45K on the clock.

try going to parkers.co.uk and clicking on on whats it worth and then used prices you can then put all the details in there and it brings up all different prices

or try

networkq.co.uk and then click value my car to put in your car details - they use glass's for the prices.

Cannot find the inlaws car though, looks like I may need more info.

The in-laws car is a Vauxhall vectra 2.0 16V R plate, GLS, and automatic (not sure which year) - approx 45K on the clock. Dont think its worth that much accoridng to networkq assessment.

glasses guide will be fairly pointless for these cars, due to their age. They will be worth as much as the dealers trade people are prepared to pay.

I'd try several dealers though

I reckon a dealer would give £1000 on the Saxo, and not a lot on the Vauxhall. I would sell the Vauxhall privately

I cant see the dealer getting that excited on the Saxo, bearing in mind the are many 2001 ones below £1000 on autotrader, including this with 22K miles.

I'd say a dealer will be offering 500-600 UNLESS they are using some discount from the new car to bolster up the trade in price.

This is not a glasses guide price, and given the age of the car, the price will be subjective, not based on whats in the book.
