    I think you can use SUM and IF separately for multiple conditions? Sorry got to dash but hope you get it sorted... if in doubt try Excel Help! :D

    Have a lovely long weekend everyone and I'll catch up with you on Wednesday if not before xx

    seems I was wrong to be cynical - which of the 5 available interview slots would I like? I've chosen to be first at 10.20. Interviews are only 40 minutes long, not sure if I was first to be phoned but certainly not last....I gently probed about the reason I'd emailed and I had an apology for the tight turnaround.......I must be getting old be getting so cynical :rolleyes:

    Toto - no, no chance of a full time job unless I get something in the merger. Most posts have a default person for them, there are about 5 new posts. 3 are full time, 2 I don't have the necessary qual. for. The only full time post is one I could do and is relevant to my past career but depends on when it they go ahead (could be many months from now) and whether anyone else is seen as more suitable. There may be someone from the other organisation who may lose their post, so would get this one instead. Other than that, my best chance is 2 low grade part time posts, adding up to about 17k, which is just not enough to live on for a single salary with a mortgage in this part of the world.

    Inky it depends - if you have excel 2007 you can use SUMIFS but any earlier and you need to do this I think:
    =SUMPRODUCT(B2:E2,--(B3:E3>3%),--(B4:E4>=2%))

    Where:
    1. array1 = B2:E2 - This is the array from whom
    2. array2 = –(B3:E3>3%) - This is the first condition
    3. array3 = –(B4:E4>=2%) - This is the second condition
    Does that help?? Try googling SUMPRODUCT and see what help there is perhaps??

    Thank's Becky - I'll give that a go, I have excel 2007 at home but at work we're still on 2003 :rolleyes:
