Joy when post disappears.lol

I was in the middle of writing a long "feeling sorry for myself" post.

I knocked the keyboard and my writing had gone.

The post was such a long-winded "Woe is me post", when other people have much worse going on their lives, that perhaps it is for the best when this happens.

I assure you that you really dont want to hear my problems

Happy thursday to all

    Hello BillTrac,
Sorry you're not feeling good. At one time it was a recommended method of making yourself feeling better: writing a letter describing all your feelings, then burning it. Hopefully this has had the same effect!
Hope your evening will improve now.

Oh no! I've done this before too.

But for next time, try to 'undo' by right clicking and selecting undo. If you'd clicked another link by accident - click back and sometimes the text is still there.

I've done it so many times now that when i write loooong posts i write them in word first!!

Yep - I'd go along with the Word/cut and paste route.

Glad you are feeling better - but people on this forum are so helpful, I'm sure no one mind if you did put your original post up!

Bit late now and I'm not rubbing it in (honest) but if you do happen to do that (and I do it all the time on the laptop) then CTRL Z often brings it back. :)
