I may be the lone voice here....if it was me I would be going home every day simply due to the fact of having a pet. I have a dog and her welfare is the first consideration whenever I do anything, my mum has a cat and she thinks the same way. It was my choice to bring a pet into my home and it's my responsibility to to the right thing by her. Just my humble opinion.
Debt free = December 2010...as of March 2006 it is now January 2010..... as of December 2008 it is now December 2009 :j hopefully sooner!!
:jDEBT FREE:j January 2012, took longer but I got there, all by myself, through sheer hard work and pride!

I have a lodger who could feed her! I wouldn't be leaving her to fend for herself!

    Hi Skintchick
I would probably stay at home- only because I have a Greyhound and the last time i left her with my son(who is 20 and away at Uni so doenst really "know" the dogs routine) I was worrying about her all week!!!!
The only other option is could you take your cat to your brothers? Not really sure about cats as I have never owned one.
Take care- well done getting work in London for those weeks!

I was going by your post which kind of implied that your lodger could not be relied on to feed the cat.
2b) I have a cat and don;t entirely trust my lodger to remember to look after her"

Like I said its just my opinion anyway and has no relation on anyone elses opinion or how they do things, to me having a pet extends further than feeding, the everyday interaction etc but as I say thats just my personal view everybody's different.

i think you should stay at home, that way you know your cat is still taken care of istead of leaving it to chance.
