Hi,
Im claiming bank charges back from the halifax through a company called ismart.I claimed my charges from october 2008 and the previous 6 years. As a goodwill gesture my bank have refunded me my charges from the end of nov 2008 up to march 2009 until the test case is resolved.Ismart say i owe them fees for this but surely as these are recent charges i don't.Any advice would be appreciated.Thankyou.

If I-Smart were not involved with the claim/repayment of the later charges they are not entitled to any payment from them, only your original claim. No Longer works for MBNA as of August 2010 - redundancy money will be nice though.

If they were still instructed by you then I am afraid they are owed an amount, it might be worth making them aware that the payment is not a full and final settlement and therefore if the company then ask for the money that they are making your hardship worse, you should make them aware that as the case is not settled in full that the fee is not yet payable and once the OFT test case issues are resolved then the bill will be settled in full.mummyemma2 wrote: »Hi,
