    Interesting..!

Luckily I've discovered the date and time of the call after digging into my O2 online bill. I hope that my long telephone conversation with them back then can be forwarded to me.

As a test I will be calling again to ask other advisors just to see the response. May be I should also inform them that the call is being recorded for training & other purposes...

It's quite possible that the claims team have been informed not to give the incorrect advice since my phone calls.

    Raskass

    "It is entirely legitimate"

yes it will be...............thanks to the Barristers and legal team the policy holder stumps up for.

Don't be so facetious. It's nothing to do with barristers or 'legal teams' or any such guff, and everything to do with fundamentals of how insurance actually works. As your extensive catalogue of illogical and evasive posts confirms, you don't understand this concept and so I'm not going to wear my keyboard out explaining it over again.
Without doubt they will ensure legality, but morally, ethically................nope they are of no consequence as these dont make profits for the IC's

Ignoring the alleged bad advice from the customer service staff - why is it morally or ethically wrong to amend a premium upon a change in material facts, so that the premium reflects the change in risk?
insurance is founded upon the objective assessment of risk.................WHAT?

" upon the objective assessment of risk"........really and heres me thinking it was founded on greed and obscene profits, but I am only a policy holder, what do I know?

I think we're all well aware of your bias and prejudice, thanks. To be blunt, based upon your posts here, the answer to your question is 'not much'.

I've noticed that some companies ask about accidents and others ask about claims. Some annoyingly use accident in the first screen and there is no way of putting in a "non claim" in the detail section!

I believe first direct do a beat your renewal quote if you feel like taking your business elsewhere and can't find any other cheaper quotes!

oh and I've just had a renewal through from admiral and my premium has gone up even though I now have an extra year of NCB so either prices have gone up generally or they have increased their prices as a result of my "non-claim". Probably both!

Do the same like I've done over the last few years. Instead of accepting the renewal premium, go on the Admiral website and get a new customer quote then call them to match it which they will.

I've saved an average of £130 when doing this.

exchange the word "works" with manipulates and abuses the policy holder"

We (the policy payer) finance the Insurance industry, we (through our premiums) pay for the legal wigs to draught water tight loopholes into the policy holders "small print".
The Insurance industry is IMO tainted with a simular if not the same brush as the banking system.

Its time the Insurance system was looked at and brought into line, just like the banks

You might want to turn this into another of your idiotic mud-slinging threads featuring miscellaneous rants on unrelated topics, but I'm sure the rest of the board would prefer it if you could at least make some effort to stay on-topic. One can only hope that your tiresome trolling antics are brought to the attention of the board moderators - you've already brought about the deletion of one potentially interesting thread through your childish posts.

On the matter at hand, the question of premium rating has absolutely nothing to do with policy wording, 'small print' or 'loopholes', so you're barking up totally the wrong tree here, and you still refuse to address the actual points raised in my earlier posts.

Thank you Raskass..............yes I'm sure you are correct, other board members would like to shut me up, possibly for financial reasons, ( such as the ones involved in the Insurance Industry) others (the paying policy holding public) not......who knows?

Its interesting how I keep gaining negative comment from just certain Individuals, the ones who work within the Insurance/Finance sectors………..I don’t see the ordinary person pulling me up……………………although you and the other Insurance/finance bodds will no doubt address that soon,

I will however continue my journey and expose the Insurance industry in all its mucky waters, until you and your supporters can develop a way to get me banned from this site

    Until then………………..enjoy

ps for now......lol........I have my own mud slinging thread thank you.

    sorry pedgepuk
