Made redundant Wednesday after 10 year's so i'v been out of the loop a bit. Job centre plus ... what's that all about .
Well i phoned the mortgage protection insurance today and they are sending the forms out.
Do i go to the job centre plus now or wait till i'v been payed out the ten week's pay on garden duty ?
Thanx.....

From the look of things, there's mixed opinion about what should be done, but if I were you I'd get down there and explain your situation, at least you are "in the system" then. Last time I was in a Job Centre it was very busy, must be worse these days. The worst they can do is tell you to come back after 10 weeks...0

If on garden leave and not given PILON then you are still employed so beniits JSA will not be available but a god idea to start getting into the system.
Your employer should be providing support in this area.0 -

My sugguestion is to fill the forms out online
