What should postage costs cover?

    In the case where buyer is trying to dictate an amount I would stand firm, explain that postage costs are xxx and that is what you are charging. If he refuses to pay then go through the full NPB.

    Although the postage costs of books are capped this cap does not apply to overseas sales.

    No, then I'd understand, but I had just added the extra it would cost to go to France so he didn't have much right complaining. After all he should have asked before he bid anyway being abroad. He payed up in the end as I said I wasn't going to post them costing more in stamps than he'd paid.
