I've had a look, but would like to get it to £100 or under really, if at all possible. Any ideas?

So you want car hire for about £7 a day, thats really not gonna happen, insurance alone would be more than that, but good luck
Live each day like its your last because one day you'll be right

This is the company we used http://www.yescarhire.com/usa/index.htm ....always came out cheapest and I have recommended them to a few people. Put in 1 week from the 19th for a 2 door compact and it came to £107 see here: https://www.secure-server-hosting.com/secutran/secuitems.php

In response to richardw I have explained the circumstances in detail in the past.
Briefly. I returned a car to downtown San Francisco and received a final hire agreement showing zero balance.
After arriving home they tried to charge me $160 dollars for delivery to San Francisco Airport. Needless to say I refused to pay.

Just had a look for you and the cheapest car I could find was £107.10 for a week and £205.39 for two weeks with Opodo. Both to be picked up at Sanford Airport.

You can compare car hire rates at http://www.carhiresearch.co.uk .
