Just wanted to know if anyone had used shopping.com. It looks like it may be a scam site but it just may be a site from china & quite legit. The worry being that they want payment by transfer. Thanks

Which shopping.com? uk.shopping.com isn't a scam, because it doesn't sell anything - it's just a search engine. Depending on what you search for you may end up at a scam site, but it wouldn't have any direct connection with the search site.

If it wants payment by money transfer (Western Union??), avoid the site (if there even is one with that name).

As mentioned, it's just a comparison site like Kelkoo, Pricerunner and Unbeatable.

Sites have to be part of Shopping.com's merchant program in respect that they pay the site for every click through made.

I wouldn't buy from a site asking for payment by money transfer, no matter how good the price seemed.

I would have thought shopping.com vetted their merchants, but I guess not. I suppose they just want paid, no matter what.
