Hi there,
Can anyone help with this one? I would like to find out if there is a way to 'print all' embedded objects in my word document.
We constantly get sent agenda's with other word docs, spreadsheets, etc embedded in them - but I can't find a way to print all without having to open them all and print individually.
I've searched thru the microsoft help pages and to email them to ask this question they want £35
Any help gratefully accepted.
Thanks, lisa

It can be done with a bit of VBA programming. The following code should get you started, but will need some experimentation/debugging and might not work for all embedded types:
Sub print_embedded_objects() Dim thisInlineShape As InlineShape For Each thisInlineShape In ActiveDocument.InlineShapes If thisInlineShape.OLEFormat.ClassType <> "Package" Then thisInlineShape.Activate ActiveDocument.PrintOut ActiveDocument.Close End If Next End SubOpen one of your documents with embedded objects, then press Alt+F11 to open the Visual Basic editor and paste the code into ThisDocument in your document project. Press F8 to step into the macro and again to run each line of code. Once you're satisfied that it works, you can set things up to run the macro on the current document by clicking a toolbar icon.0 -
Thanks, I'll give that a go:think: If you want the rainbow, you've gotta put up with the rain :hello:0
