spent nothing again. 4 no spend days in a row. For me not spending in the week isn't usually a problem cos I work on an industrial estate so no shops about.0

larmy16 wrote:Hi all! I am new to this part of the chat forum. I am not strictly speaking in debt, well not seriously, but recently had to put £450 car expenses on my credit card which I want to clear as quickly as poss.
I am off sick today so I have spent nothing. Yesterday though was supposed to be my first day of not spending any money that I did not really need to, but I failed at the first hurdle.
I spent £3.49 on postage for Amazon. The plan was to bypass the charity shop but of course in I went and spent £3.20 on books which were all worthless, so that was £3.20 wasted.
Then £20.00 on petrol (necessary) and £4.01 in local shop on paper (not necessary), milk and rolls (all which should have been bought with the proper shopping on Saturday) plus two of those rice crispy type cake things (definitely not necessary!)
Do you do this every day, list your spending??? Thanks
Hiya Larmy - welcome in
I do it every day - it keeps me (roughly) on the path of virtue!
It's up to you which things you post - I ignore all the direct debits and so on and only list the things that I choose to spend, or which come up intermittently like fixing the car.
You're already policing yourself I see on which things are necessary
I hope you feel better soon.Do I Need One Stops All Unnecessary Reckless Spending£2 CSC - £30 :kisses3:0 -

Well  did take lunch in ...but not enough so spent 80p on a little extra something.
Then have evening class and had 40p chocolate attack
Then on the way home (class was at place of work so had been there from 8.15 a.m. to 9.00 p.m !) needed wine!!! Stopped off in Tescos and spent £4.62 (wine + milk)
Oooh and £3 on boxercise class that I didn't pay for on Monday. This is a bit of an extravengance when I already pay gym membership - but it's a social thing too.
So lets see that makes...£8.82.
Get paid tomorrow :T0 -
