will question

i am using a sample will which i downloaded from compact law there is a section that is confusing me

I GIVE the residue of my estate both real and personal of whatsoever nature and wheresoever situated to my Trustees to hold on trust either to sell or if they think fit without being liable for any loss to retain all or any part of it and to pay my debts testamentary expenses and inheritance tax payable on or by reason of my death in respect of my estate and invest or apply what is left for the benefit of Peta Joan Flint of 23 Yard House, Viewpoint Road, Poole, Dorset BH16 2HE.

which would leave my residual to the above person but i dont see a backup anywhere in the document what can i add to make alternatives should the above person be not possible

the full will can be seen

    You need a solicitor.

These templates only work if you go with what's there. If you want to do something different/extra then there's no guidance for that.

Ideally, you should see a solicitor anyway unless you are crystal clear that these templates will deliver exactly what you expect them to. more often than not, they don't.
